Luke's Priorties

People

Wilmington’s greatest asset is its people. The best ideas won’t come from City Hall but from individuals, businesses and organizations representing the diversity and needs of the entire community.

Public Safety

A safe city is a strong city. I’ve stood firmly behind our first responders while also demanding transparency and accountability from leadership. As Wilmington continues to grow, I will continue working to ensure our police and fire departments are fully staffed, properly equipped, and supported in their mission to protect our citizens. Public safety is foundational and I remain committed to delivering effective, community-focused protection for every neighborhood in our city.

Prosperity

Wilmington’s economic future depends on responsible growth and smart investment. As a small business owner, I work every day to ensure my company is sustainable and profitable, my clients are secure, our processes are streamlined and that our teams have the tools to craft solutions resulting in long term success. I’ve advocated for common-sense fiscal policies that keep taxes low, reduce red tape, and prioritize long-term economic stability. Whether it’s supporting local entrepreneurs or encouraging high-quality economic development, I’ll continue working to make Wilmington a place where families and businesses can thrive.

Places

We shape our surroundings the same way our surroundings shape us. Great cities are a collection of great spaces where people come together to work, play and relax. I’ve championed investments in public infrastructure, fought to preserve the beauty of our tree canopy, and advocated for smart land use that respects both property rights and community needs. In the years ahead, I will continue supporting thoughtful planning that protects what makes Wilmington special while ensuring it remains livable and accessible for generations to come.
